Sharing a review

A comparison is often for someone else: a reviewer, a test lead, an auditor. While comparing, use the panel’s Export HTML, Copy MD, Export MD, or Export CSV buttons, or File → Export Report.

Format Best for
HTML review Sending to someone who doesn’t use Layertrail. One self-contained file that opens in any browser, offline, with no scripts or external resources. Prints cleanly, or save it as PDF from the browser.
Markdown Pasting into a ticket, wiki, or pull request.
CSV Filtering and sorting node changes in a spreadsheet.

HTML and Markdown include the snapshot names, dates, and descriptions, the scope if you compared one subtree, the totals, and every node and template change with before and after values. The HTML review also lists every prioritized finding, not just the top few shown in the app, and ends with a reminder that a listed change isn’t evidence that it caused an outcome.

CSV has one row per node change (property changes get a row each) with old and new values. Every row repeats the snapshot descriptions and scope, so it still makes sense when filtered or copied elsewhere. Template changes appear as a single notice row pointing to the Markdown report.
